David qualified in December 1978 and has over 45 years of experience in a number of areas of expertise including:-
- Commercial property work
- Residential conveyancing
- Statutory and private lease extensions
- Collective enfranchisement
- Equity release matters
- Development work, acquisition of businesses as a going concern
- High net worth transactions
- Administration of estates with some associated inheritance tax advice
- Will drafting
- Lasting powers of attorney and similar private client work
During the early part of David’s career, he joined Victor Mishcon & Co (now Mishcon de Reya) on qualification eventually reaching Partner level. David has also ran his own law firm which provided him with the wonderful experience of practising law at the “coalface” as well as extensive networking and communication skills. Throughout this time, David acquired a substantial client base and following over the years.
David has experience of acting for a variety of clients ranging from acting for CEOs in the acquisition of their new offices and restaurateurs opening their premises in a shopping mall, to acting for first time buyers and prospective tenants on their startups. David is praised by clients for being a good communicator and always will keep clients regularly informed on the progress of their matters.
Interests away from the law include tennis, football and a passion for history and the arts generally.
